Dumbo

This is what I have been hearing every morning from my little Reed...Dumbo, Dumbo..He is so obssessed with this movie yet every time the mom sings the Baby Mine song he cries so hard and I wonder why he still loves it. I guess he is so cute who couldn't love Dumbo. Iam trying to find him a little stuffed toy or something. I know every word to this movie I look funny every time I watch it.

Camille

Camille....You are the best sister in the whole world. You are always there for me and always helping me with Reed. He loves you lots and he always wants to hang with you. Iam so proud of you and what a beautiful person you have become, not when you were little though..you use to bite and kick and scream and run away from me..hehe but now you are my best friend and I am so lucky to have you with us. We love you and good luck at Norte Dame and on the cheer squad oh and hey btw you better get into Harvard one day..

Cool Product

So this product is so cool everyone who has kids under 2 or 3 has to get this. The woman who made this is from my town Burbank, Ca. She came up with a rinse free shampoo that smells amazing. It even comes with a cute comb. My son has recently hated taking baths and me pouring water over his head. They use these in hospitals and its great. She also has more products but I thought this one was the best. They are all organic which means paraben and propylene glycol free. Parabens are linked to cancer and other various problems. Propylene glycol is what they use to clean off ice from airplanes. It pisses me off at how the government allows this harmful crap to get to our children. I have signed numerous petitions to green our products especially for young children. Anyway, I am stepping off the soap box. Here is the web site if you want to check out her product..... www.oopsydaisybb.com

Moving On...

So yesterday, Myles comes home from his EMT class and shows me all this stuff and I can only think of one thing. Tears swelled my face and I couldn't get over the fact that we are not teenage kids anymore but adults. We had so much fun in high school together and now its a different kind of fun. But I couldn't believe how fast the time went. I think thats why I needed to take a moment of reflection and just cry. I just can't wait to see what the future will bring us also. I think we get so caught up in the every day drudgery of our lives that we must stop and reflect, but also move forward. Everyone says how crazy Iam for wanting to spend every second with my son and never wanting a break, but I say that he will grow up so fast and I will say where did the time go? I don't ever want to miss a second of his life because I know that it will pass and he will be 18 before I know it. Here are some of my favorite reflection pictures.....

Fun List..

So being the fact that Iam young, I need to be doing activities with Reed constantly other wise I will go crazy. Iam currently doing online schooling to get my AA, but still I need something else to do and bond with Reed. I have come up with a list of things to do during the summer. Here they are:

1.L.A Zoo
2. Disneyland
3.Knotts Berry Farm
4. Orange County Fair
5.Balboa Island
6.Raging Waters
7.Santa Monica Pier/ other beaches
8.Kidspace Childrens Museum
9.Sea World
10.Universal Studios/Citywalk

Hopefully I will get to blog about these adventures. That will be my goal for the summer..
Here are some new pictures to go with this post..Enjoy!!

Reed is such a ladies man. Every time my sister's friends come over, he totally gives them the biggest dimpled smile. It is so cute. He also has a new found love for stickers. He puts them all over his body and then says "More". He is such a character, michevious also.

All jokes aside.....

So I heard this funny joke today I hope all you moms enjoy it...

A man came home from work and found his three childrenoutside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty foodboxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of hiswife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was nosign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink. Breakfast food was spilled on the counter. The fridge door was open wide.. Dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried that she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met at the top of the stairs by a small trickle of water as it made its way out from under the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap, and tooth paste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed, in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?" She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?" "Yes," was his incredulous reply. She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it.."

Here's to You Dad

Dear Dad,

It was so hard to leave the airport today. The tears streamed down my face as I watched you leave, but I know that it's not forever. You have always been there for me and given me so many memories that I will cherish forever. I will always be daddy's little girl. I remember every school year you would buy me flowers and make me take a picture in front of the house. But those pictures I hold so close to my heart. And I know that you will give Reed all those wonderful memories too. So Dad, I love you and this is for you..Happy Father's day!!!!

First Day...

Sooo..Hello everyone this is my new blog. I am new at this so it may take me awhile to get started. I hope all of you love what is in store for this new journey..We started off our life with a lot of love and good intentions. Everyone said that we would fail and not succeed as young parents. I say "watch me". So, Myles and I have decided to document our jouney as young parents. Let me tell you a little bit about Myles and I before confusion sets in. Myles and I have known each other since we were 15 years old. He asked me out a half a year later and ever since I have fallen more and more in love with him each day. I am so amazed by his caring nature and he has touched my life in ways I cannot describe. Reed came into our lives at our tender age of 18. He is the light of our lives and he is my little angel. Fast forward a year and now he is a boisterous toddler. I know this may sound strange but I love and actually enjoy spending every second of the day with him. I know that he will grow up fast and this moment will be gone and then he will graduate high school and start his own family..Im already getting teary eyed. Well I hope you like our journey.
